When will GBPUSD go short?

When you run out of margin on your short position.

Depends how far you want it to fall. You need to be more specific with your question. It goes "short" every day at some point...although I presume you mean something more sustained - that is to say, a swing short. In that case I would say you will be waiting a long time because I think we are now going much higher. There will, of course be dramatic down days, such is the style of Cable which is very volatile but I believe we will see it break 2.0300 before it breaks 1.9350 again.
