Hi everyone,

I've just started my journey into the world of trading and obviously still don't fell confident enough to risk real money.

Have tried the MSN virtual trader but can commerce with indices there which makes it quite limited and the demo accounts offered by the trading companies usually have an expiry date.

Can someone recommend me a good virtual trading platform?

Thanks a lot!

Daniel

I use Stocktrak.com which is $15 (I think after a student discount.) You can paper trade all kinds of financial instruments (Stocks, Bonds, Futures, Options, Currencies, etc.)

If you're only interested in stocks and want a free platform, I recommend UpDown.com - they supposedly pay you money if you beat the S&P500 for that month.. I only recently joined those guys so I wouldn't know..

i would recommend ninja trader with a forex.com demo feed. you can record sessions and replay them, very useful feature. also very good for system development. and it´s free.

I 've decided to publish my spreadbetting trades on a blog for several days, so check it out see how well it performs, feedback welcomed.

Have Fun !

I use Metatrader 4. It has all I need for trading. I select a broker only if it support MT4.
