Hi everyone, and thanks for a great forum. Been lurking, but decided now to join in.

I'm interested in analysing UK Unit Trusts, and back-testing strategies. I've found data in ShareScope, but it cant be exported. And backtesting in eSignal or Metastock but I cant get the data. Are there any other possibilities?

Thanks, Chump, for the repsonse. Sorry, I should have said. I want to export the prices in bulk. I can do one Unit Trust at a time but ShareScope cant do Unit Trusts in bulk, apparently because they have no EPIC code.

So I am still hoping there might be another product with data for Unit Trusts plus backtesting, or the possibility of export to MetaStock in bulk

I tried Reuters DataLink (End of Day) but its coverage of unit trust is awful. Also, found incorrect prices too.

Did you get anywhere in your search?

You can get them individually from FT.com. If you know how to script, you'll be able to write something to do it for you. I'm vaguely thinking of writing a Matlab or PHP script to do it, but have not got round to it yet.
