Closing IB Account

Can I just check with someone before I put in my £5000 minimum deposit that it is easy enough (if I decide to stop using IB) to withdraw my cash and close my account? I imagine it is pretty simple and might sound like a stupid question, but better to be safe than sorry!

Mike, IB are as reputable as they come. But like any organisation, they tend to have far more processes (delays) involved with closing an acocunt down that you or I would be interested in. It's generally quicker and easier to simply withdraw all but a nominal amount.
