I need help, advice, explanations, etc.....

As a novice I need simple laymans terms and an explanation of various strategies. The only experience I have is scalping odds in Betfair.

There is little price movement in any currency pairs,
can you share some strategies or are these highly protected by traders,
What can charts give me?
where should I begin?
Any help, pointers, info will be very welcome.

There is SIGNIFICANT prive movement in almost all currency pairs. What makes you think there isn't?

I would suggest with a good book that covers the basics of what you are interested in: futures, options, spreadbetting etc

Maybe she's looking at it from the pence or cent change when comparing it to indices or stocks, rather than pips.

Which is where the leverage comes in ... leverage in fx multiplies the percentage price movement to the point where you have something worth trading
