hello all
i a beginner when it comes to trading and want to do the studying and plenty of paper trading before investing my cash. ive been on the babypips site and it is very informative but i would like the pipsology pdf as it is much easier than printing all of their web pages. i wondered if anyone would be so kind as to help me find where i can get it without paying the $49.

You have to be joking ? What you are asking is for someone to illegally give you a copy. If you are not prepared to pay even $49 to learn something about trading then you will never be a trader.

i apologise as i appear to have caused offense. all the information is free on the site and can be freely read and printed. the site offers a printable version without web headers etc thats all. as for being a trader, like i said i am a total novice. i dont even know if i'll ever get to the stage where i put my money at risk. i just really want to get as much info as i can for as little outlay as i can so i can practice, practice. the info is already there but contains ads etc. i'll print it like that.

if the info was not disclosed and cost X amount of money then i agree that if you want it, you pay for it. i just find it strange that they give you all of the information but want paying to print an add free version. i would have expected it to be a token amount (which would be fair enough) but $49 will buy you a bloody good hard back

1keynose: my opinion of the 'Pipsology' info is that it's overly simplistic

one of the best sources of research — and free is the library system
if you live in/near a city they'll obviously have a larger selection of texts to borrow
as well there's an interlibrary loan service

Yes it will. But the work you mention is worth far more than the sum requested. It's an excellent starter for FX traders. Any traders actually.

Quid Pro Quo and Karma bro' - pay the money - get the goods - or snaffle it for free. It will make all the difference.

1keynose, I have 2 opinions:

one is that a person could study 'trading', think in terms of a 4 year university degree
and many, many. many books

two is that a person should just find a simple trading system/method and trade it


your next question might be 'what's a simple trading system ?'

The question I have to ask at this point is how much time has been spent trying to aquire the pdf for free and how does that compare with the cost of the thing. It seems awfully silly to spend and hour or two trying to aquire something that inexpensive - and in grand scheme of things, it definitely is on the low end of the cost scale.

I can't speak for anyone else, but my time has a value to it. I'm not sure where I learned that along the way (probably at some point where it started becoming scarse!), but it definitely gives one a different perspective on things.
