I just joined a room with alot of talented and experienced futures traders and they seem to be doing very well. Its free so nothing to lose. Take a look at Welcome to The Trading Zone

Not sure if you're after strategies, or more specific information. If the former then Chick Goslin's book 'Trading Day by Day' is a good primer for a newbie.

The best book on Futures I have read is:

The Futures Game: Who Wins, Who Loses & Why: Richard J. Teweles and Frank J. Jones

I found it heavy going though.

Much easier to absorb is:

Getting Started in Futures: Todd Lofton
