Hi I'm new :)

Hi guys,

I have a few questions that I need some answers too.

a) I’m worried that I’ll sign up to a dodgy website, what are some safe websites that I can use to invest in currencies, shares and commodities? Which is also connected to multiple stoke markets around the world.

b) I have been paper trading a while and 60% of my trading records are in the positive range. I need more trader friends and a friend to teach me more stuff about tradings.

Hi Alan, you are 100% correct, back testing trading strategies until you find something that is working for you is the way to go, I just want to caution you about finding a mentor - if someone is asking for money, e.g. to sell you something like trading signals, strategy, mentorship, etc the chances are they will not be working in the long run and the person is probably a scammer making money from gullible newbies, fully knowing he cannot make money in the stock market... I am yet to see a well known hedge fund manager or a successful trader teaching people on the internet... The only exception to the rule that I know of the top of my head are the so called Turtle Traders group from the early 80s

Plenty of newbies come through and as could be expected asking the same relevant questions.
