Hello All!

My name is Matt and I have been trading for over 3 years now. I started off learning to day trade without much success and then moved over to longer term trend trading. Immediately the concept of trend trading stood out to me as a style of trading the markets that suited my lifestyle and personality.

I write a blog to educate people on the advantages and methodology of trend trading with weekly portfolio updates. Please give it a read if it interests you!

Just joined this forum. Hello everyone.

I specialize in trading the 30 Year T-Bonds(ZB).
Have been trading the Bonds non stop since 1985.
I have also developed a couple of ALGO trading systems.
I am always interested to meet others who trade the futures markets,
especially Interest Rate Futures.

Before you trade even single penny on the stock market, please spend the time and educate yourself by back testing different trading strategies and ideas - go to eBay and search for "historical stock market data", you can buy 20 years of data for less than $100 - that's all you need to start.

That's not very fair and it's certainly not true. By way of example, look at the threads started by Nowler who joined last September - and the wealth of advice he's received - all for free.

In general - out there - yes there are. But here on T2W there are precious few. And the odd one that slips through the tight net of our Mod' team is quickly pounced upon and exposed by our experienced members.

Well, everyone needs their ego pampering from time to time. Besides, there's nothing wrong in doing this - especially if there's an educational element to it, i.e. the trader explains his/her rationale for the trade(s) taken.

Speak up - let's hear it - especially if you have suggestions as to how T2W can improve. We're all ears!

Greetings. I just started trading a month ago. I have been doing my stock research on my brokerage sight and I'll find what I think is a great buy, and then it doesn't produce much, so I am looking for experienced traders that help new traders. I want to make some money this year.

Thanks.

Here's a suggestion Brewk. I've attached a "Market Club" chart that illustrates their Trading Triangles.
{NOTE; I am a member of this service and use it exclusively for my trading. I highly recommend them. I am not an affiliate of the service and make nothing recommending the service. Do a GOOGLE for Market club to find the service. }

I do Small Cap and Penny stocks and the triangles work great for that price range.

So, for a NOOB this is a great way to learn trading and make some cash at the same tie.

Hi ForexinDevon.

I'm sorry I didn't see your post earlier. I live in Exeter and meet up occasionally with other traders locally. To be fair, this was started by Burnley a couple of years back but I haven't seen him for a while, we occasionally meet up for lunch and a pint.

If you'd be interested in a meet-up post here or send me a PM.

Cheers,
Tom

Hello
I'm new today, have been doing lots of research to start trading stocks . Am really looking at trading American stocks as this suits my current job at them moment. Any advice on good trading platforms and brokers for a paper account first would be much appreciated.

Cheers Ian
