I am currently 15 studying at secondary school.

I am looking for apprenticeships but none seem to specify age minimum or have an easy way to contact them. I understand 16 is not the desired age but I have been told by multiple people they start at 16.

If anyone can give me an insight or any information on what being a stockbroker is like I would be interested to know. I do understand it is high pressure and rather complex, but I think I would excel when needed to network or communicate with others.

Welcome to the site - I don't know much about apprenticeships in the industry, but I think this site might be helpful to you:

https://home.citygateway.org.uk/

It is mentioned in this article about apprenticeships supported by the LSE:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/...change-launches-apprenticeship-programme.html

Also I would also say do not limit yourself to looking just at "Stockbroker". There are many other careers in the city, covering IT, insurance, currency etc e.g.

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/insurance-apprenticeships

Good luck with your search
