Deep desire to learn

The global economy is an interesting intersect of corporate and government based operations. Commodities (future), currencys (forex), and company's (equities) are the mainframe structure.

I understand there are a myriad of strategies to succeed as an investor or trader, but fundamentally you need to know your **** and preferably, I want to paper trade to test out efficacy of trading systems.

Any advice?

If anyone knows how to make you rich, they'll never tell you. Keep searching and the answer will find you. Also, stop believing that markets are a reflection of the global economy.

Markets are one projection of economies, not its core. Focus on companies and their sectors if you're headed towards stock trading, the rest will just be helpful chatter.
