Is this the correct process/strategy to short stocks?
1. Establish which stocks are being bought or sold at auction.
2. If everyone is selling a stock at auction look at the level 2 date and when the market open and if the stock price is down short the stock also there must be more sellers than buyers.
Or when the market open, the stock with the most volume of sellers and the highest percentage down short that stock. Is that how day traders mind works when it come to short selling a stocks?
Would you recommend all traders must have level 2 data?
