Mine was Norton securities, I think in 2002! I thought Internet security was a great investment. And I heard a rumor from a friend.....turned out to be wrong and stock went to ****s.
A company called Silicon Graphics. Stock soared 40% in less than two weeks. Why did I buy it? Now looking back, despite the profit, I would credit it to stupidity by a newbie who got lucky.
