Bund, Bobl, Schatz?

I was wondering if someone could explain to me what the bund, bobl and schatz are, and how they might be traded? I've always assumed they're linked to fixed income products such as bonds and STIR's, but was looking for clarification. Thanks.

They are all differing types of German Government Bond. You trade them like any otehr bond (i.e. for most people here, most efficient method of access is going to be via the futures market).

If you take a look at the futures section on T2W you will find plenty of people trading these instruments, some knowledgable and helpful, some not. The rest is up to you.
