I am a customer of TDWaterhouse and have used Chrome as my browzer. At all times I get timed out by Chrome with the statement that "your system is too slow for us to use". Does anyone know about how to get around this in waterhouse or should I just give up and go back to a slower browser?

Sounds like you already have a slower browser!

In Chrome Settings, click "Advanced" - have you got the "Enable phishing an malware protection" option switched OFF?

If not - switch it off.

are you sure it is your browser? have you checked your computer? do you use a new/old computer?
perhaps, you have an unnecessary service, plugin or app running in the background.

I think this is not a problem with browser because I am using Chrome with my old computer and still I haven’t faced any problem.

Recently, I have found out the Chrome browsers used a lot of system memory (RAM) when it run. So, if your computer is old, kindly you use another browser (less memory) as IE. Good luck!

If Chrome is too slow to use.. which i find hard to believe, then have a go with Firefox, i'd steer clear of IE but that's personal preference.

As my experience (my major is IT), FireFox also uses a lot of memory when running. Of course it's better than IE but for the old computers, I think the best choise is IE. But if you can, try with FF or Chrome. Good luck!

ok, im missing something..the OP says he's having trouble with Chrome, and the advice is try Chrome? :smart:

I use IE now, try it. I know it was bad some time ago, but now they really try to do their best. Besides a lot of online terminals were coded for IE, because it's default browser for most PC.
