(first sorry for my english)

hello, i know nothing about brokers, etc that's why i would like to have answers from pros like here,

i just want a true real time FTSE100 data feed, not an 10-5secondes delay,

where i can have that ?

even if i must pay it's not a problem ( a free trial would be great of course )

i'm searching but it's difficult for me ( english so not evident ), i find quantum,tradestation,interactivebrokers... but i don't really understand all that and what i really need

so a big thank you to the kind guys who will want to help me

By "true real time data feed" what you mean?
Ftse100 cash or Ftse100 future?
you have plenty of options, and many of them are for free

i just want a true real time FTSE100 data feed, not an 10-5secondes delay,

not an 5-10 seconds delay, i said i want a true real time data feed to avoid that people give me link like yahoo or market movers, etc where we can see quotes il "real time" but which are only refresh each 5 or 10 seconds,

euuuh it's not the future so i guess it's the "cash " ( but never read this term ) ,

that's the FTSE 100 index and

this should be correspond with that i think
FTSE:UKX

UKX:IND

( this one : http://fr.advfn.com/p.php?pid=qkquote&symbol=FT^UKX )

if i have understand what i read i must subscribe with a stockbroker or directly with the provider of data feed ?

thank you to answer in any case :)

Ah, ok, real time feed...

I think that the best option is simply downloading a MT4 platform from a broker (which has a unlimited time demo) and open a demo account... that would be free and would take you like 5 min to complete the whole thing..
then, look for the FTSE100 ticket and open its chart...that's all!!.... real time chart...

There are many brokers that only offer forex instruments, so you need to look for one that offers you Futures, or CFD's to be able to have FTSE100...
I can give you this link from FxPro that offers unlimited time demo account and that offers FTSE100 future as in the picture:

Forex Demo Account | Online Forex & Foreign Currency Trading | FxPro

It is a pretty easy process, but if you got any doubt on the setup of the platform or whatever shout it here, and I'll try to hep you

because there is more in severals heads than in one i continue here,

hello,

i explain you the situation,

in fact i trade on betfair ( exchange bookmaker, like the bourse but for sport if you want )

and so you can trade on sports but also on few financial things like FTSE ,

to see the quote of ftse i use bet365 , but i note that the "level price " that they use is the middle between seller's and buyer's prices proposed,

and the problem is that with bet 365 i see price fall or rise 0,3-0,5sec after the price fall or rise on betfair let's say , so others people have 1sec advance on me,

so

first, can i do make appearing a line in the graph to represent this middle between the buyer/layer's prices ?

second, very very very important,is there a faster broker or plateform than another ? every time i find MT4, but MT5 is better ? i must take it ? is there others plateforms ?

I tried OEC ( open E cry ) but that's the same delay than bet365,so no utility,

tomorrow i will test what you give to me,

they talk about ninjatrader too in the forum and it's well known in the business of betfair,
so i will try that too,

last question, must i perhaps buy on the provider of feed and after import on the platform no ?

well i stop with my questions ^^

good evening,
see you tomorrow

cordially,
thomas.

i find also that links , should i explore them or i'm not on the right place ?

I'm sending you through here both charts, as I cannot attach them in the PM..... cash index on the left side and future on the right side...

If you really want to trade the FTSE and that way with "Betfair" is complicated for you because of the different quotations, I would recommend you to open an account with any broker out there that offer you the FTSE100 Future, and go with it.... nowadays you can open accounts to trade it with very very small initial deposit
