which is most important to you, tech analysis or fundamentals such as breaking news and economic data?

or about the same?
 
Tech Analysis is most important to me because my trading edge is technically based. Others that derive an edge from Fundie analysis will answer Fundamental analysis presumably ?

News and economic data is in some way a measure of the global macro/fundie environment not fundie analysis per say. The market knee-jerk (+) reaction to these individual event risks can throw up some hi-probability technical set-ups to profit from and in this respect they are important to me in this respect.

I'm a fundamentals guy, but that doesn't mean I don't look at TA.
 
i use both, fundamentals to determine which way the price should be going, and technical to find a nice entry
