$5000 starting capital

Hi everyone,

Would it be possible to start day trading with US$5,000?

I guess it's possible to day trade with any amount technically (excluding commissions, tax etc). To day trade as your main/only source of income however $5,000 will almost certainly be not enough without taking massive risks which as all people know is not a good idea.

You sure can start with that - as long as you're not trying to live off the potential income from that amount, because I don't think you'll do it (I speak from experience).

I dont think you can live with that amount, commision and taxes will eat your account slowly, but start trading with that you can, that way you can make enough capital for you to be able to live from the returns.
