Sorry bud, you just need to get stuck in and start browsing. There's a lot of crap to wade through on this forum, but the good stuff is there as well.

Try out some approaches, demo them, and you will start to form your own observations.

You have a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong road ahead, that is certain.

As Paz said you got a very long path ahead, but also one of the most enjoyable you will ever undertake, you will not only learn about the markets but you will learn about you as a person, how you handle pressure, your psychological make-up... trust me in a few years time you will look back on today and laugh at yourself.

Then you can head on over to babypips.com and check out the stuff there, that's where most start I think, certainly helped me loads.

I'm guessing the headbang technique has the possible long-term effect of forgetting that you'd be trading at all!

there are some other techniques applied by the brokers (in the example below they are playing the middle guy - retail trader)
