What to trade with £1000.00

Hi everyone. New to trading and was just wanting some advice on what type of trades would be best with £1000.00 to start with?

first you need to find a good honest broker, note that there are a lot! of dishonest brokers out there,
this is something I never knew when I was beginning, and I lost a lot of my money just because they where dishonest and traded against me, don't go for anything else than a ECN, and stay away from market makers, for trading I reccomend forex, you can start with a low bankroll and you can trade around the clock from monday to friday, there arent many real ECNs out there but if you poke around in Google you'll find them. Are there any suggestions for a good ECN broker? One someone has been using and is good?
