Hey guys, new to this site and looking for some advice.
A bit of background first though. I am 24 years old and a recent Civil Engineering graduate with a 2:1, with decent A Levels (nothing worth shouting about in this modern day of A*.) I have a current job working in sales which are long hours and commission only and have been in said job for approximately 1.5 years. I have a big interest in Futures trading, with a Prop Shop alas I fear that maybe my degree is not good enough or the fact that I have very little trading experience (the very little I did was to earn beer money at uni.) I appreciate I have to go through a trainee programme first but most of them want finance/econ grads.
So based on my history, would I be seen less favourably by certain companies. I did have an interview with LGI, however I chose not to go having Companies Housed them only to discover they were brand new and what they were claiming on the website did not match what was detailed on the CH site....
