Hi all

im very keen to get myself involved into the trading scene, been offered an interview with schneiders trading programme, although not sure if this is a good or bad thing! looking for a bit of advice if possible.....

also how much can you learn from books and websites etc....??

thanks

...more than you will from asking very vague questions on a forum!

your post is like going onto a motoring forum saying "please tell me about cars"

Help yourself by being proactive and more descriptive. What sites/books have you already found? Should we do all the work for you?

How about a brief description of who you are and what markets you might want to trade, the time you have available to dedicate to trading, level of experience etc.

Maybe provide a link to the Schneiders Program?

Sorry to sound harsh. My reply is much softer than some of the members on this site would give you! Welcome to T2W.

No thank you for your honesty....I need all the advice I can get, I'm very green and completely new to trading, hence why I'm probably asking silly questions

Im interested in spread betting on the forex markets, would this be a good place to start?

Have you ever heard of the Schneider programme? Is a 6 month or so training course, you don't get paid and basically if they think your good enough they keep you, if they don't your given the elbow

Here is the link. http://www.schneidertrading.com/prospects

Once again thanks for your reply

Do a search for STA/Schneider Trading Associates, it's all mainly been covered before.

I'll just let you know that it's not a 1 on 1 interview and it'll be a group thing. If you make it through the interview stage and get a place on the training course, it's a 4 week elimination course and only then do you get the opportunity to trade your own account.

Sounds a bit like the Driving schools that advertise to teach instructors all over the media these days. They make their money when you pay for their training and when you hire their equipment. They aren't really bothered if you do well as an instructor, so long as you pay their monthly fees.

Are you interviewed to be trained as a trader or are they just looking for a good customer?

Maybe its not like that and I'll shut up. :whistling
