Hi all, Well I'm feeling a bit out of my depth. Green round the gills as they say.
Not done much of this at all but sooo much keen to get back in...it's been 10 years. After reading what some of you guys say I decided to invest in Mr Hills Newsnight Trader...have I done a good thing for such a redneck?
Need to ask...they offer a start up offer with Short Spreads a/c. Is this worth taking up or is there somewhere better to go bearing in mind they're offering £500 bonus? Or am I misreading this.
Any help and guidance very much appreciated for an ageing, baldheaded lookalike spreadbetter who could do with a piece of the action.
Bless you

Hi Justanet,

I joined shortspreads because it seemed easier for following the NNT system. There seem to be much better platforms out there but I've found SS is plenty good enough, charts can be difficult to read but on the members site there's a tip for overcoming this. I didn't bother claiming the bonus as there were too many stipulations in the T&C's and it seemed to me that I could easily lose £500 by placing the trades necessary to claim it. The system is pretty simple to follow and not too intense but not showing much profit for 2011 yet so suggest keeping stakes low until you feel confident with it.

Thanks StevieP1
Having now recvd Mr Hills 'manual' I'm about to get involved. I've recognised the lack of success so I think I'll play around on the dem for a while. If you discipline yourself with forex areas you can come up with much better gains. NNT is I feel a real lazy mans way and when it works you can then say you didn't need to do too much for that.
I'll let you know how I get on.
Thanks again

I did get the book as well, but i am not very confident it will bring profits than losses, i dont know why but would liek to knnow how people are getting on before i start the i want my money back procedure....

Sent mine back after 4 losses in a row! I can handle 4 losses in a row but not when the trades only happen every couple of weeks, it would take too long to make the money back never mind any profit. Still got my weekly update this week and apparently the latest trade has hit the first profit target so there's a glimmer of hope for those still involved. During my time with NNT my own trades have outperformed the Newsnight ones easily and I'd never traded forex prior to this year! Good luck all.

Can you tell me if it was a difficult process to return the book ?

Thanks
