Default Inflation Trading
Hey guys,

I have an internship lined up at an IB and am supposed to be rotating across the inflation trading desk. The problem is I really don't know anything about inflation trading. Could somebody give me an idea or point me in the right direction?

I wouldn't start with derivatives, if I were you. They're not likely to be your desk's bread and butter.

See your PM. The answer is both, as inflation derivatives are unlikely to be the desk's main focus. Obviously, it depends, but the main subject to learn about is inflation-linked bonds (linkers).
