Hi all,
I would like to ask you an advice and please excuse me if the message is longish…

I am an Italian 22 years old, I spent my last year of high school in 2007 in hospital, situation that lead to a 65/100 mark at my A levels (liceo classico: ancient greek, latin, etc etc).
Then I have studied architecture in Switzerland for two years and have done an internship during the summer 2008 in an architecture studio in the US (Chicago).

But architecture, I discovered, wasn’t for me. I passed the exams and everything only because I am really diligent and determined in what I do.
In September 2009 I moved to London in order to start a Business degree and career.
Because of my mark at A levels I haven’t been accepted in a good university and decided instead to start this September a Bsc Business degree at Birkbeck University, which is an evening college of the University of London. The decision was made hoping to find a job and get some work experience while studying.

The problem is that I can’t find a job. Not even a really basic job. (at the moment I ‘m a part time sales assistant, but I really really want to quit!).
I am not sure I want to become a trader, not sure what exactly I would like to do in the future. The only thing I know is that I am extremely interested in the market , I am reading (on top of newspapers) some academic books I got at the uni library about how markets work, etc etc and I enjoy it. The next step, when I feel I’ve learnt enough, I suppose will be paper-trading.

The reason I am writing this message is that I would like to take a professional qualification which will help me develop my skills an career. I hope.
But which one would you suggest to take? Which could be useful? Above all, do you think it could actually BE a relevant plus point on my cv?

Thank you for any answer.
