Practice account

Hi

I am new to trading in general and I am looking for a site or some software that I can practice on properly and test strategies on before I make a deposit. The demo accounts I have opened with do not have full functionality or only last for a small amount of time before the account is stopped. Does anyone know of a site where by I can set up a practice account and test that does not have these restrictions.

I had a thinkorswim account for five months before I funded it. I never found something I wanted to do to be blocked. And they did not nag me about funding the account except for an occasional email.

Good graphics, trading platform, access to historic data. What else do you need?
 
If you are new to forex then I'd suggest you to take some times to learn about the world of forex trading. You can do this by browsing for good reliable source on the net. There are many ways, techniques and preparation you should know before you jump into this.

Hi

Thanks for all of the help I am going through Baby Pips at the moment and also looking on here are various recommended books and peoples opinions on them.

songcon: Thanks for the link. I did a search for practice accounts but I had limited time to look through the results on Friday so thought I would introduce myself to every one as well.
