Hi to everyone. I am a new boy although I have been watching through boiler roof stuff. Has anyone had any dealings with a Harrold Snowcroft of Geller Associates? He is selling Selva Resources, who he says are just to float on the London Market.
Done a bit of research and looks like a boiler room, has anyone had dealings with these names.

Selva Resources were mentioned here before in relation to a boiler room scam, I will find details and post them. In any case if you got a call selling shares its guaranteed to be a scam, give them nothing.

I have googled geller Associates and nothing but Harrold Snowcroft gave me his phone number 0041 43 508 0322 which is in Zurich. I do not need to phone now as I do not intent investing. When the paperwork comes in the post I will find anything else out and put up here.

There are quite a few Geller Associates, they have probably just copied the name. That phone number does have a Switzerland country code but that means nothing. You can buy a Switzerland number from Skype and recieve the calls anywhere on it. They are not in Switzerland, they are most likely in Spain or some third world country where the police dont bother much to catch them.

Thanks for the info - these phone calls keep coming and it seems I am living up to the name on the list they must have bought, 'mug'! I did invest in Spiriton Media and a company called Gice Security. I hope these may be better but I think you probably remain scepticle!
cheers anyway

I didn't realise you'd been caught up with Spiriton Media, there is a thread about them on T2W. Did you get them from ALV Group or someone else?

...and yes you do seem to be on the mugs list now.

Yes I bought from ALV capital the Hong Kong based brokerage that we all thought was part of the company, Do the names John Guchone and Richard Bell ring any bells, excuse the pun.
These guys have some form and provided us with entertaining meetings. I missed the one when they were arrested though.
Been hanging on to our dreams for years now. Looking forward to the meeting. It will happen! It better happen!!
Have been a bit disturbed by the comments about Paul Miller, the IR person, he is just an investor who became the people's spokesman and had the time to gather info. It would have been so mush worse without him.

Yes I read about the guys you mentioned, don't hold out any hope of getting your money back and whatever you do don't give them any more.

Hi everybody from a new poster.

I have recently had contact from The Cohen Group of Zurich ( name of John Morgan)trying to sell shares in Selva Resources at $1.50 with the indication that the company will have a listing on NASDAQ and London within a few weeks with shares expected to be $3.00 to $3.50.

They had previously been "selling" shares in Insight Management Inc (ISIM).

Does anybody have information on The Cohen Group or ISIM?

They are not a broker and they are not based in Zurich. They are a boiler room scam based in some offshore location. Their aim is to steal your money and then disappear leaving you with worthless shares that you will never be able to sell.

In case you dont believe me they are already on the FSA warning list and it would appear their website has gone (unless you know of a new one)

www.fsa.gov.uk/pages/Doing/Regulated/Law/Alerts/overseas.shtml

Thanks for your help and I had seen that they are on the FSA warning list. I am confused though, because I have received some documents sent by UPS and they do come from Zurich. So they do not appear to be based off-shore. Do you have any more information on them?

There is no need to be confused, they are a boiler room trying to steal your money. Just because they have forwarded mail from Zurich means nothing. By the way does it show an address from where it was sent in Zurich. I'd bet its from a mail forwarding company or a virtual office.

Do not, even for a minute, think about moving forward with this.

GICE Securities are now on the FSA warning list.

Geller Associates, mentioned on the previous page, are now on the FSA warning list.

King, sorry to be rude but I would start to get a little bit more real if I were you otherwise scammers will steal your money everyday of the week. In fact, right now you might be on their 'super mugs' list, and that's one better for them, one worse for you, than being on their 'mugs' list.

As PB says just because a company sends something from Zurich doesn't mean they're not thieves.

These are the facts -

You were cold called by a company nobody has ever heard of trying to get you to buy a tiny oil/gas/gold/mining/curing cancer/biotech company.

They also told you that's there's easy money to be made, probably 50%+.

All you have to do is send them some money to buy the shares and the large profits will all be yours.

And you think all of this, strangers calling offering easy money might be legit!

Like I said, please start to get real otherwise your naivety means your money will be stolen.

Just did a bit of a test there with the Geller Associates post. This thread comes up on the first page of google at position 5. The FSA warning about them is on PAGE 7 of google (on an iPhone at least). Conclusion? The FSA would be better off posting their warnings here than on their own website.
