Hello to all.

First post - trading and spread-betting equities and indices at present from my desk as a 2nd income. Doing OK so far in 2010 mainly on the banks and FTSE.

This looks like a good site, getting very fed up with the insanity at the LSE forums!

Welcome. What's your key TA?

PS - Be prepared for some insanity here too from time to time.

I am embarrassed to say nothing too fancy, just experience of key shares in those markets and their behaviour in relation to news, sentiment, indices movement, EUR/US etc.

And I rely a lot on experience. I am not a big player but have turned £26k into £42k in about 18 months.

I am happy with that anyway.

It can't be as insane here as LSE, can it?

Hah!
Well that had me fooled, I assumed you were referring to a forum hosted by the London Stock Exchange!
:cheesy:
Tim.
P.S. Welcome to T2W wino although, as you can see, it's not altogether fool free!

The forums especially RBS, LLOY (most 'pop' shares) are largely populated by idiots.

Obviously haven't been lurking here long enough then

Don't be corrupted by the emphasis on voodoo charting here... you have been warned ;)

On trading actual bank stock maybe around the 50,000-odd shares of the cheapies (RBS/LLOY).

On spread-betting a lot less, a quid a pip on the FTSE or BARC, and maybe £20 on LLOY/RBS. I know the swings quite well there.
