Could you help me estimate the monthly cost of running a decently equipped trading station (for trading futures on CME and Eurex) which would include the following:
1. charting software - CQNet/eSignal/cheaper alternatives if they exist
2. squawk - any service offering voice update of the recent events/macroeconomic data
3. Bloomberg/Reuters/other service providing macroeconomic data without delay

According to my research, I can get CQG for $500, eSignal for $150; squawk for £175 and Reuters for $100 (only macro data).
Any specific figures would be grately appreciated.
Thank you

Slow down, you posted at the end of tge day London time and get arsey if someone doesn't reply within 5 hours.

Your CQG and Reuters look very low to me. ESignal certanly about right, dunno about squawk. The big boys (Rtr/BBG) tend to obfuscate their pricing structures, pretty sure my Rtr (full access but no paid for exchanges) is about $1000 pcm and know my bbg was £23k for 2 years

Hi Sheen.

You may find it easier to just purchase a Bloomberg as it give you all your market data, news, anaylsis, fundamental or technical, you could possibly need.

You wouldnt need anything else.

BBG costs $1,900 per month and your tied into a 24 month contract.

Get in touch with me if you would like to learn more.
