For the sake of argument, if I say it's brilliant and let's say Elefteros says it's pants - are you any the wiser?
dbphoenix is a prolific poster, why don't you read his posts to get a flavour of where he's at and then decide whether or not you like his style and ideas? If you follow the link in Elefteros' post, dbp even offers a sample chapter for prospective purchasers to read. And it's only $30.00 - so it's hardly a major investment. Anyway, if you really want to know what I think of it, I'd say it's very well written and quite witty too. Even if you disagree with his ideas, it'll aid you greatly in getting you to question what you do and don't believe about the market and help you to crystallize your own view about how the market works. The only real downside to the book is its formatting which is abysmal. He couldn't have made it harder to read and less user friendly if he'd tried. (I should point out that I bought my copy in 2004, so he may well have updated it since then.) Even so, the pro's far outweigh the con's - it's well worth getting, IMO.
