Hi, does anyone here subscribe to the Gartman Letter, written by Dennis Gartman? Would be interested to hear anyone's experience with the letter, and pricing if known.

Thanks

Was a regular reader for a few years, personally thought it was very good and altho I didn't monitor the trade performance it seemed pretty good (long-ish term trades based on geo-political analysis).

Judicious Googling suggests a price of around $2500 pa which, if correct, is seriously good value imo (in fact, may subscribe myself now I think about it)

Example here . . . http://www.alberdon.dsl.pipex.com/sample.pdf

It is one of the things I read regularly. Always insightful and is read by a lot of prominent Hedgies

shhh! Don't tell everyone, they'll all want to read it!

btw current pricing £8790 for a 50 user licence, and £7790 for a single-use licence. Not sure if that is negotiable at all - Dashing Blade where did you see $2500?

£8k? Ouch! Got $2500 from an incorrect reading of Googles cache. My apols!

It is the best letter for traders out there. You can get a month's trial for free, which I highly recommend you do. The price is a little steep, admitteldy. I do not currently subscribe for that reason. For longer term investing, The Casey Report by Casey research is a fairly unknown jewel. Affordable, and incredibly insightful. I can't say how impressed I am by the Casey staff.

Hello,

I am also looking into the gartman letters, do you still recommend it. Any comments provided are greatly appreciated.

Anyone know the cost for single membership?

Also, I would like to know the difference between the gartman letters and alberdon international?

I found these 2 websites, are they the same or is it 2 different services?

It's very expensive, just sign up for the trial.
Secondly, you can learn a lot from the letter just about how to guage what is going on in the world but don;t even think about taking his trades, he is not a very good trader as evidenced by his fund, which doesn;t perform very well.
