Considering Moneyweek

I'm tempted to start subscribing to Moneyweek magazine in the UK. I'm just starting out so I'm not sure if it is all it is cracked up to be. From what I have read so far it looks pretty good. One of my reservations is that they try and sell you a lot of tantalising reports and products which aren't cheap. Is this a good publication or is there something better?
-Thanks

There's some useful reviews here:
Money Week - Read Reviews
Sounds like a decent enough mag.

It's a good mag, quite light hearted which is refreshing. I particularly enjoy Bill Bonner's articles. They seem to have a bizarre fondness for Japan - and have been tipping it every couple of months for a few years now.
However, if I had to recommend just one weekly mag, I'd say spend your money on Investors Chronicle instead.

Moneyweek seems to have favourite hobbyhorses it likes to ride. Gold seems to be one of them.
I found it quite tedious after a while, and it wasn't what I wanted. However, it may appeal to a different sort of trader. I realised that I was only really interested in TA, and it's not that sort of magazine at all. There was still some interesting stuff, but not really worth my spending the money on.
Occasionally I look at it in my local library.
