Van Tharp psycho test

If you're anti Van Tharp then read no further. I've just sampled his free online "Trader Test" which purports to assess what kind of trader you are -- a sort of psychological profile. Obviously, the purpose is to draw you into his web and sell you his products, and to see the results of this assessment you have to sign up to his newsletter (from which you can later unsubscribe if you want to). My point is this: after answering 34 questions I was quite amazed at how accurate the profile is (in my case) and how consistent it is with other professional/paid for psychological profiles I have undergone in previous careers [of course, they might all be based on the same flawed analysis methodology!].

You may of course think this is a load of tosh -- and might even be right! But I thought it was worth a look and certainly in my case confirmed areas of my psychological approach to trading that I already know I need to work on.
