Hello,
In the past, on trade2win forum, I found balanced viewpoints posted by members as an helpful aid in my evaluation. I recently came across this event to be held in June 2011 - "Century of trading" (http://www.centuryoftrading.com)

I am interested in your viewpoints on this event i.e., pro's & con's. Also in general how would you evaluate trading seminars to decide if they are worth time and price?

(Please read disclosure...)
My current take of the event is: (a) Might provide a chance to learn techniques that are employed by real traders rather than knowledge from some educators who can't trade their way out of a paper bag. (b) Opportunity to contact later these veteran traders on trading related questions. (c) An avenue to network with fellow traders who are serious in their pursuit.

Disclosure:
In the past, Jeff (one of the 3 veteran traders in this event) mentored me for several months. That helped me find consistency and profitability in my trading. Similarly in past, few times I contacted Simon on trading related issues and received good guidance from him. Just to be clear, it will not make any difference for me whether others attend or not attend these seminars. I am more interested in whether should I go.

I have woked with Jeff in the past too. Great guy who turned my game around when I once got stuck in a rut.

Ask yourself how often you get the chance to learn from genuine people rather than the inexperienced (or unscrupulous!) with their silly software systems etc?

At the price this seminar is a no brainer. I'm going even though travel will cost a heck of a lot more than the seminar itself.
