Factset

Hi all,

someone uses Factset services ?? They should be good in investment banking/management/research areas

Do you think Factset could get advantage for you and your oragnization?? It could be easier in my opinion work with a Bloomberg or Reuters terminal at a good % of their potetntial, and then getting the same advantages of a Factset terminal.

What do you think ?? Can the services of Factset be made by a Bloomberg or Reuters terminal ??

Life example:
Being only 2 blocks away their reception desk didnt know where Threadneedle street is...

Horses for courses. You'd have to prise Bloomberg from the cold dead hands of our traders, sales traders and salespeople if only because they all use the world's most expensive instant messaging service. Factset quite good on fundamental data, but charting is pretty duff compared to Bloomie. I guess you get what you pay for.

Do you know in London where I can use Factset per hour? I left trading and I need it for fundamentals.
