stock screening site/ software

could someone suggest a good stock screening site/ software for fundamental company info that covers Euro & US stocks.
I've looked at Yahoo, msn etc but want something a bit more in depth. Doesn't have to be free.

cannot help you with Euro stocks, but you have quite a few choices with US stocks.

Quotes Plus is an EOD data provider, and they supply, if memory serves, 12 quarters of fundamental data history, accessible via a couple of bundled screeners, or via an API.

Check out PowerScreener Pro or Lite (the Lite is free I believe).

Marc Gerstein's book (from Multex, now Reuters) covers some of the products as well as some of the screening techniques.

The site at Portfolio123 allows backtesting based on fundamentals (and perhaps a mixture of technicals - have not used it). They use Reuters data.

You do not need metastock. Not sure how you can screen, or if the fundamental data is accessible via an API.

The newest amibroker release now also allows to handle fundamental data and they can now be scanned easily. So right now it is possible to scan for good earnings combined with any indicator signal for example.
