I am new member of this site. I know $500k is small. Regardless I am serious. I have some traders on east coast expressing interest. I am from equity market and do not know about Forex. With good strategies, I am willing to have better terms (equity % of company)with partners to get started. Yes I AM serious about it. It depends on strategies and person. The partnership must go through due usual diligence process in the process of forming prop trading business

If you have strategies that perform on average 100-150% per year with no big negative PnL week. I am wiling to have 50/50 split on equity(profit). But I have feeling that you may not have that kind of strategies. In HFT field, that return is not unusual. For Forex, I have no idea

you will lose your money, do not get involved.
It all depends on strategies. Do they make sense? and how to verify the trading records in terms of profitability and risks; how to set up system and business; and how serious is the partner? and etc. I have been in industry for many years and have seen many people starting with small and grow to big. Most of time, people who have working strategies but no money while people who has money but no strategies. Many of those prop trading firms were established this way via mutually beneficiary partnership.

No wonder there are so many scammers in this business when people actually advertise to give a complete stranger 500k. Quickest half a mil anyone could ever make!

SafeTrader - there is naturally a lot of skepticism on this site, so, without prejudice, aside from capital, are you bringing anything else to the venture? Are you bringing strategies or another advantage? Crucially, do you expect a knowhow provider to inject equity too?
And, out of interest, suppose I had proven strategies, would you entrust your USD to a UK company controlled by me (following due diligence, of course)?
