IG are now allowing you to spreadbet binaries on bitcoins. Pretty horrendous 10 point spread though.

Anti-money laundering procedures would likely make it a nightmare for accepting bitcoins, at least for financial institutions within strict regulatory jurisdictions. OkCupid became the latest site to start accepting I noticed today Dating Site OkCupid Now Accepting Bitcoins - Mike Isaac - Social - AllThingsD.

More and more brokers allow that now, but a 10 point spread is not something I would trade personally.

Doesn't that happen all the time?

As with everything else, those who got in at the start, i.e. smart money, made a great return and as soon as the average joe jumped in smart money understood that the part is over (at least for now). Then average joe panics and runs away and smart money return.
