what made the soybean crush go crazy from March onwards?

Do these synthetics get wilder as the contracts approach expiry?

Let me see if I am understanding the basics of the crush... when the spread between Soybeans & meal and BO narrow, this means that the profits are less abundant in soybeans and more so in BO and Meal products. By selling beans and buying meal and oil, a processor or speculator is trading the reverse crush. If he or she is buying beans and selling oil and meal the crush is in order ( with a widening spread)?
