Yield hike help

Hi, can anyone tell me why the Treasury yield spiked at 8.20am this morning and went up up about 1.5% before any announcements had come out ? I am new to following the Treasuries so i'm just trying to get my head around this, any help is much appreciated

most likely attributed to a large offloading transaction(more supply - cheaper price - higher yield) A rate hike is looming

Thanks Forker, I see last night there was a 12 billion auction on the 30 that under performed, likely to have contributed largely to this morning, although I would have assumed it would of hiked earlier ?? Is there a bond auction calendar that details the amount of bonds and expectations ? anyone ?
