If you go to any decent (ahem) prop firm and put up you own capital they will facilitate trade in any market e.g. CME, NYMEX, LIFFE. etc.
The benifits are that you will have much cheaper transaction costs and faster communication speeds and also be with other traders. Theres loads in London and a few in america i should imagine.
