Vantage Point

I expressed interest in VantagePoint, who claim that they can correctly predict 80% of the time, and I got a very pushy salesman obviously reading some standard patter off a crib sheet. It was a bit embarrassing really, as he was so obviously reading it, and it immediately put me off.

Now VP could be very good. The samples they sent seem, at first glance, pretty good, with clear entry and close points in evidence. However, cynic that I am, I checked their claims very thoroughly and found that some of them did not stack up. Also they only sent me charts of periods when there was a clear trend reversal, and it was easy to see when to enter and when to get out, in retrospect. I would have been more interested in those periods when indicators were spiking all over the place: would VantagePoint have me buying and selling every day or so, each time at a loss? Or would their different charts be a real help?

I really could do with some help on this one. I can see that, inspite of their being a bit overly commercially aggressive, they may have something to offer - but at a high cost. Has anyone else tried it and/or subscribed to it?

Also, has anyone tried Waves59, which has extraordinary things like astrological indicators incorporated in it? It is enough to put anyone off, but there are lots of other things as well, and I'd appreciate some feedback from any users.

Thanks.

It's been discussed here a bit. You need to do a search for "Vantage Point", Just your hold your mouse over "discussion" in the menu bar of any page and select "search for a post".

I'd like to think that nobody here will have tried it, but I'm usually wrong about things like that. :)

A search for that produces 4 different threads, and that was just searching for "wave59" (all one word).

Similar experience, a very pushy salesman I asked for a trial which was refused, I asked for past 1 full year of signals (not just selective periods) for 3 commodities, the Salesman promised this will be provided but even after reminder I did not get this. My conclusion I wont buy it.

Thanks Roberto I will check through "Discussions". Rizwanuk - that is what I feared. Thanks, too.

I get junk mail like that very often. I find those flyers and brochures to be very useful. I can clean spills with them, jot notes in the margins, cover a LED at night when I'm getting to sleep, level a table or chair, use them for coasters, etc.
Anybody can take a chart and make claims to have predicted all the moves, but they won't give you any sample prediction before the fact, will they?

Hello all. Looks like it's been 13 years since anyone posted here so we figured we'd get the ball rolling again. We apologize that some of you experience a not-so-favorable experience with our sales team. The truth is, our entire organization is proud and excited about what we do and how we help traders improve not just their results in the markets but also their lives. We're enthusiastic and eager to help others so if that comes off as pushy, it's not intentional.

For more than 38 years our company has been solely dedicated to producing the most accurate AI trading platform in the world. Our accuracy is measured each year and we proudly share the results on our website. Across all the markets we forecast for (stocks, futures, etfs and forex) our average accuracy is 80% with some as high as 86%. It's no crystal ball but when used appropriately, it's 100% invaluable.

I would encourage anyone who is interested to send us a message or email so we can connect one-on-one and schedule a live demonstration to show you the new UI and how the forecasts work. We're happy to show any market we forecast for.

Hi vpsoftware - I say Hi, as I think "Welcome" might be pushing it a bit - I won't be a customer but I say fair play to you for entering the lion's den after all this time.

Thanks, Tom. HI back atcha

This is a forum, sometimes you just gotta let the lions do their thing. But as I'm sure you can imagine, our product has evolved quite a bit in the last decade. When most of these comments were made, we only forecasted for Futures. We've grown leaps and bounds and I have no desire to change someone's opinion but there may be people out there who are still curious as to what VantagePoint does and how it can help them, so if a one-on-one will help them better understand, rather than just reading disgruntled thread posts, I want to give them that opportunity.

Hi vpsoftware, I also have some from the company wanting me to buy an updated version of the product which I purchased a few years ago which did not help me at all it was a total waste of money, but the agent is telling me the new updated version is much better. Can you explain to me how this works

Can you explain what is different now about vantagepoint as I brought the product a few years ago and it was useless
