I am in Malta and I need to find a reliable on line trader.

Its not easy to find on-line traders which do LSE and possibly European stocks and are accessible to non UK residents without bank accounts in UK.

I have Brokerjet in Austria (good rates but high for LSE). Any other suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks

Thank you. I sent an e-mail enquiry to Saxo last week. Believe it or not, I got a phone call from them within less than a minute!!

Service seems more than fine, but I still haven't tired the demo trader software/web.

Conditions and terms are OK except higher rates for LSE (minimum 15 Stg, which is a bit high for some one who is just starting to experiment with shares). Though there are no account or custody charges which is good.

The only reserve I have is, that Saxo seem very biased towards Futures and Forex and perhaps CFD's, which are all way in the future for me.

Do you use their services? Web or downloaded trader? What is their reputation in their own country?

Thanks

well, they seem and claim to be the largest FX trading banks in Denmark if not scandinavia.....regulated by the local authorities and Denmark is pretty strong economically...so guess it would be ok.

Platform is interesting, service to get you to trade good... they dont really care about clients... just want them to trade... that would be my conclusion.

If you want a simple broad platform they are the way to go, but dont count on super trading advice from them.

Young aggresive company but since they have a banking license, pretty much regulated and cash there I guess should be ok.
