Reccomend a Brokerage?

Im pretty new to trading, ive read a couple book and lots of online material. Ive been watching the dow to get a feel for how the numbers react to certain information/times/volume/etc. Im ready to get my hands dirty and lose some money. :cheesy:
I would like a simple brokerage with small/no minimum balance, low fees, very basic charting, ability to phone in orders.
(is that too much to ask,idk)

I think penny stocks has a free trial, so i wont be completely blind, I plan to make 5 - 10 trades per month (low key).

theres a post several threads down about 25 most popular brokerages, i found zecco to be quite interesting. anyone have any opinion on them?

This is the age of the internet especially when it comes to trading and investing. Online brokers are therefore the only way to go for most. Telephone orders will cost a lot more and won't offer a return on investment.
