choosing a broker

Hi Can anyone recommend an online broker for me. I want to trade primarily US and UK stocks, perhaps options in some time.

I was considering tradeking as its pretty cheap flat fees and I like the learning section. Anyone use this? i read reviews where their research tools are bad. is this true?

I live in UK...does this affect which broker I can use?

well I think all the brokers are good and safe you just need to select one of them but if you are a beginner I suggest to go with some demo accounts of different brokers to have some experience and compare their features and services
