Setting up Brokers and Charts

Hello

I am an active Forex trader, trading through a forex-only broker, who I am fairly happy with and who offers great charting for free.

However, I would be interested in finding a broker where I could consolidate all my accounts (stocks, forex, possibly futures and options) and just trade through that ONE broker for everything. An example that I am thinking of would be someone like Interactive Brokers.

My question is this...am I most likely going to have to pay separately for a charting package (for stocks, forex, e-minis, etc.) that works with that particular broker and their price feeds? And how does one go about doing this and setting it all up? I'm confused as to how it all works.

Right now it's easy for me..my forex broker offers their own comprehensive charts all tied into their trading platform, but they only offer forex. How do I take the next steps and what do I need? Thanks.

IB has charts as well. If you don't like them, there are a number of chart providers (some free) who connect via IB's API and offer the comprehensive charting you desire.
