double-tops;
peaks and troughs;
channels; ( brazilian ones I suspect )
double-bottoms;
etc

get too excited and you might end up with something like a "handroll", eh, handroll? :LOL:

I suppose the one advantage to having a Playboy model as your account manager, is even if you lost a whole lot of money, you would be too distracted to care.

and the added bonus that you'd have something substantial that you could cry into...

I was thinking of taking up a new position, possibly with a re-entry after a pullback, and exiting after a peak rise prior to a climactic sell-off. Typical of the swing trader really.

As for support and resistance, I won't even go there!

Apologies, everyone.

Trading stocks? what a waste of their talents and assets........ better off sending them to tradingnaked.com instead of that bloke in the deckchair..looking p*ssed up...... !! :)

Failing to get a firm grip on the situation, Mr Hefner, in his twilight years, remarked that as he is unable to get good feel for the forest of opportunities in hand, he would resort to making more withdrawals than deposits in his account.

With tongue in cheek, and apologies up front.......

It's been shown that too much time-decay can affect an attempted straddle, causing loss of the upward dynamic, a rapid reversal and failure to re-enter. Now is the time to consider your position. Perhaps you could resort to using derivatives. They certainly add an extra buzz to your activities but can also suffer from excessive volatility.

Those opting for the cross-pairs rather than the majors prefer looking for the bounce off the bottom as a possible entry but this is a risky ploy and requires confirmation of the entry signal.

Experienced players know that it can be advantageous to add to one's position. Start with one lot. Then, when everything is going your way, consider adding a second, but watch out for the inevitable implied volatility.

Finally, whichever strategy takes your fancy, always calculate the risk/reward and always use stops.

Well, I only hope they get filled.

I attempted a straddle but ended up naked between spread legs
