Any suggestions for a good non US Broker?
I trade CME IMM´s and e minis and I need a back up Broker to Refco, preferably
outside the US.

Just make sure they are for example, in the case of the US, registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and in the UK, regulated by the Financial Services Authority, and for other countries, the relevant regulatory bodies in those other countries.

Thanks Anon. Is there anyone in UK that you can suggest.
I had considered SaxoBank but after reading some of the comments here on T2W
by Clients, I have grave reservations

You can find a list on http://www.liffe.com/liffeinvestor/

under "LIFFE Designated Brokers"

Some advertise regularly in the Financial Times newspaper and Investors Chronicle magazine.Think of an analogy with the manufacturer, to the wholesaler, to the retailer. Personally, when I choose I try to choose the best I can afford. As much as possible cut out the middle man but without sacrificing quality.

I am not familiar with Denmark, but the Saxobank website does look good, although I don't have an account with them. Besides you can't always believe what is posted on forums.

I try to figure out the trends there by reading the magazines including The Banker (http://www.thebanker.com) and Euromoney (http://www.euromoney.com). The magazine version, not the websites.

Many thanks Anon much appreciated.
I am aware of LIFFE and I have sent an e mail to Credit Suisse, whose Prime Trade platform is known to me.
Have you any experience withe Credit Suisse?

Highly reputable Swiss bank.

But no, I have no experience with their platform, I don't know about their commission charges either.

How times have changed, but the most basic skill hasn't. Once you've got it, you've got it!
