Does anyone trade UK stocks with them?

I cant believe that it costs £6 a trade to buy a UK stock but only $0.005 to buy a US stock?

It would seem daft to trade any of their european equities over US given the huge differences in commissions?

not sure how it works out on the cost plus structure

Cheers

It's not just commission as you have stamp duty as well that adds to the cost and as you say there is no reason at all to trade UK when US is so cost effective.

Yea I noticed that, I thought I could avoid that trading CFDs, except I would only trade DMA CFDs (noting the number of bucket shop providers out there) but then you need to be classified as a professional client rather than a retail one, which seems almost impossible to (e.g. iDealing require you have a capital min of 500k).

Bit annoying as I know the uk market well
