ah, just seen your replies in other threads, and that it appears to be the case.

just go to the fsa and complain to them that they were churning and burning your account. they seem to take a dim view of this, was it montegue pitman? or something like that that the fsa took to task. anyways, sorry to see you in a bit of a jam re logic.

They did say: The value of shares can fall as well as rise.

Why didn't you listen ?

Unless there's is proof of the claims, I am going to side with the vendor.

he should have plenty of evidence and proof with his account statements. it will be worse for them if the account risk profile was ignored.

Montague Pitman indeed, same thing, signed people up at various shows for free advice and then stitched them up for an advisory service. I think what really got them in trouble was recommending OTC shares, sophisticated investors only and all that.

I reported on the spam carpet bombing. Further I am not sympathetic to anyone so easily taken in and I believe their paid education is good for them.

joe, while i do feel that something isn't right here, you just have to look at the past posts that are left. though i don't think anyone has formed that view yet as the older posts are still live and strokey isn't banned.

having said that there was no need for anyone to blanket remove the lot, that's plain lazy, there's such things as merge and move in the arsenal of tools that they possess. what was wrong with moving the "spam carpet bombing" to this thread then having a tidy up? this is a thread started by strokey, his wayward posts could have easily been placed here, easy as deleting them.

If the spammer demonstrate care, then there would be grounds for the mods to reciprocate. Otherwise, I reckon it's fair game.

In any case people here didn't cause the money lost. Why should we bear the consequence ? Further more there was no evidence of the money loss. For all we know, it could be a inter-vendor squabble that was spilling into the open.

i agree it could be a vendor squabble, it's a known fact that happens. though if the mods had moderated in an amiable fashion then the new posts listing wouldn't have been chock full of rant, any point to it and subsequent discussion is now lost, truth or not, likely now we'll never know.
